As from this year, it is also possible to practise spontaneous and semi-spontaneous speech at appointments. This means that you will be able to continue getting feedback on your imitatation of prepared material and first sight reading practice, but you may also ask the teacher in charge of your appointment to work on either free-speech or guided speaking. The idea behind this is to help you transfer the knowledge acquired in the more controlled activities such as imitation to your spontaneous speech. This will aid you develop the monitor skills that are necessary for your autonomous work in other subjects and final exams. You may choose to work with role-plays, retelling of an article or other activities that you have practised in your lab lessons.
